When glassblowing, you are working with the glass at such high temperatures that the hand never comes into direct contact with the glass. The Heria Series was a means to directly manipulate the glass and leave traces of the hand. Lathe cutting on the vessels allows a different process of mark making, as well as making possible the addition of various textures and refractive qualities within the glass. The blending of teals, pinks and purples, alongside the various tones created by the cutting, allow the Heria series an added vibrance and colour that works in any setting, domestic or professional.
